Meet Our Team!
Katie
Owner/Training Director
In 2017, Katie and her daughter were forced to relocate from Brazoria County after Hurricane Harvey flooded their house. She found the perfect potential dog property, purchased the 30 acres in Lee County, Texas and began the transformation from country acreage to dog heaven! For years now she has made it her goal to create the perfect dog paradise in her home (some may argue that it is more of the dogs’ house than theirs). Despite her legal background and law degree, she devotes her life to the dogs and spends most of her time with her dogs (after all. dogs are much better behaved than most lawyers!). "As the old adage goes, a tired dog is a happy dog...we have a lot of happy dogs and they are always doing something or going somewhere!" Katie owns and loves a gaggle of goldens (don’t ask exactly how many lol!) and trains and competes all over the country in various performance events, She is also an AKC Judge, HRC judge, AKC CGC and Puppy S.T.A.R. Evaluator, trainer and a highly accomplished handler. Katie enjoys traveling (with her dogs), hiking (with her dogs, and relaxing (you guessed it, with her dogs) ;o)
